Salatiga, November 2025 — AIICARE LP2M UIN Salatiga successfully held the 2025 Annual International Interdisciplinary Conference and Research Expo (AIICARE) on 3–4 November 2025 at Laras Asri Hotel, Salatiga. Carrying the theme “Approaches to Sustainability: Bridging Science, Society, and Culture,” the conference brought together scholars, researchers, and practitioners from various countries to discuss interdisciplinary solutions to global sustainability challenges.

The conference featured Prof. Zakiyuddin, M.Ag., Rector of UIN Salatiga, as the keynote speaker, along with invited speakers Prof. Nasr Muhammad Arif (Cairo University, Egypt), Mr. Theophile Rurangwa (Rwanda), Prof. Maila Dinia Rahiem (UIN Jakarta), and Prof. Jumanto (Universitas Dian Nuswantoro, Semarang). Participants presented research across a wide range of sustainability-related topics aligned with the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Selected peer-reviewed papers were prepared for publication in the conference proceedings published by Taylor & Francis, with the event reinforcing international academic collaboration for a more sustainable future.

2026 Annual International Interdisciplinary Conference and Research Expo (AIICARE)

 

The 2026 Annual International Interdisciplinary Conference and Research Expo (AIICARE), organized by AIICARE LP2M UIN Salatiga, invites scholars, researchers, and practitioners from around the world to engage in a dynamic academic forum under the theme “Integrating Islamic Thought, Education, Science, and Society: Multidisciplinary Approaches to Global Transformation.” The conference will take place on October 5–6, 2026, at Laras Asri Hotel, bringing together leading academics and professionals to exchange ideas, present research findings, and foster interdisciplinary collaboration. Keynote and invited speakers from prominent institutions across Indonesia, Malaysia, and Bangladesh will contribute diverse global perspectives, making this event a significant platform for intellectual dialogue and innovation in Islamic and interdisciplinary studies.

AIICARE 2026 covers a wide range of topics, including Islamic legal reform, human rights, education in the digital era, language studies, Islamic finance, and the integration of religious and scientific knowledge. The conference encourages contributions that address contemporary global challenges through multidisciplinary approaches grounded in Islamic values. Important dates include full paper submission by May 31, 2026, followed by peer review, presentation, and revision stages. Selected papers will be published in SINTA 1 and SINTA 2 indexed journals as well as in the official AIICARE proceedings, offering participants valuable opportunities for academic dissemination and professional recognition.
